The Dragonflies of Stanley Park Twelve species from three families have been recorded in our dragonfly survey. Although the term dragonfly can be used to refer to all species in the order odonata we use the term "true dragonflies" to refer to the larger darners and skimmers and damselflies for the smallest members of the odonata.
