Semicircular cap colour varies from white to grey to dark brown. Surface appears slightly roughened. Bracketlike fruiting body.
Pseudohydnum gelatinosum bottom view Pseudohydnum gelatinosum habit view
Spines carry the spore producing tissue. Note the short stem at the base of the cap. Found most often on rotting conifers typically in small clusters
