Pinkish, rounded to compressed, slightly roughened surface. Fruiting bodies from .3 - 1.5 cm wide.
Lycogala epidendrum bottom view Lycogala epidendrum habit view
Grows on dead wood. Fruiting bodies may be scattered to clustered.

Sightings:
Photographed growing on a large Western Hemlock log October 13, 2004 on the east side of Tatlow Trail about 100 meters north of the junction with Lees Trail.
