Grey-brown cap 1 - 2.5 cm wide with sunken yellow center. Fragile, hollow stalk 5 - 7.5 cm long.
Coprinus plicatilis bottom view Coprinus plicatilis habit view
Gills attached to a collar around the hollow stalk. Gills become black but not inky. Single to numerous in grass.

Sightings:
Photographed October 14, 2004 in grassy area close to Stanley Park. Likely present in grassy areas inside the Park.
