Feeding:
Dabbler
Eats seeds, berries, insects and aquatic invertebrates.

Behaviour:
Wood Ducks can disappear in the breeding season.
Courship and pairing start in fall and continue into spring. Courtship activity occurs in groups with more males than females..
Females return to previous nest site [Nest Tenacity].
