Common Bushtit
Common Bushtit
Common bushtits are one of the smallest birds found in our area. Their home range is the Pacific coast of North America.

Bushtits travel in small flocks. They are gleaners, picking spiders and insect eggs, larvae, and adults, from leaves and twigs.

By late summer individual family groups have banded toghether into larger single species flocks. At this time of year If you find one bushtit you're likely to find several more nearby.
